Final trimming on the paper cutter, tolerances can be within .001”, that’s half the thickness of a single human hair.
There are many factors to maintaining accurate final trim. Sheet control and register must be controlled throughout all of the previous production processes.

When setting up a print ready document remember to export the PDF out to include 1/8” bleeds (.125” or 9 points), and printer’s crop marks. You don’t need all the other crop mark definitions, but this ensures we know where to trim to and that the bleeds on your document have been accounted for.
